Epiq acquires data breach response company Canopy

Epiq announced the acquisition of Canopy on September 25, according to Legal IT Insider. The publication described Canopy as a leading data breach response technology company. Legaltech News (Law.com) also reported that Epiq acquired Canopy, describing it as a data breach response software provider.

Legal IT Insider said the acquisition enables organizations to manage cyber incidents more efficiently and accurately. Legaltech News (Law.com) reported that the acquisition moves Epiq away from partnering with data breach response technology companies and toward bringing such offerings in-house.
