Ison Harrison bought Dootsons

Ison Harrison bought North-West practice Dootsons, Legal Futures reported on 2026-09-28. The acquisition was the Yorkshire law firm’s first outside Yorkshire, according to Legal Futures. The report said the purchase increased Ison Harrison’s total number of offices by three, to 30.

Law360 reported on 2026-09-30 that Dootsons was a Greater Manchester-based outfit and described Ison Harrison as employee-owned. Law360 said the purchase was the first time in Ison Harrison’s 48-year history that it had bought another law firm from outside its base in Yorkshire, northern England.
